We are deeply honored to have been entrusted with the sale of this eclectic art collection, carefully assembled by a collector in Richmond Hill.
The story behind this collection
After dedicating their early years together raising their children, A.B. and her husband discovered a shared passion for art. They spent countless hours visiting galleries and attending auction houses, always in search of distinctive works that would bring beauty and character into their home.
This collection brings together a diverse selection of 20th-century Canadian paintings, lithographs, as well as European-style paintings and drawings. United by their deep appreciation for art and a discerning eye for exceptional works, the couple carefully sought out pieces that spoke to them personally and enriched their growing collection.
The collection features works by Chagall, Dalí, Cranston, and other notable artists from the Canadian and international art scenes. Eclectic and thoughtfully assembled, it reflects both the couple’s curiosity and their enduring passion for art.
Following her husband’s passing from cancer several years ago, A.B. has chosen to offer this collection for sale as a meaningful tribute to his memory. In recognition of the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who supported him throughout his illness, she wishes to dedicate the proceeds to raising funds for the Princess Margaret Foundation, as a gesture of gratitude for the care and compassion they provided.
